"Thursday PM" is a group of sixth graders who gave up time after-school to participate in the "No MOre Trash" contest.  After planning and carrying out a fundraiser to get money for supplies, this group of sixth graders focused on Missouri's resources and symbols to decorate their trash can, which is displayed in the school library.  Missouri's state bird, the eastern bluebird, sits with an owl in a flowering dogwood tree.  The base of the tree is decorated with spring flowers.  The slogan "Save MissOURi's Environment," expresses how these eco-minded students feel!
